Kru Mark Cannon has been training in Martial Arts most of his life. He first started training in the art of Judo followed by Karate. In 1988 he started training and fighting in Muay Thai under the tuition of Master Sken and Colin and Billy Heron. In 1999 Kru Mark opened the Panthainarasingh Camp in Liverpool and has trained many champions to date. The name of the camp was given to him by Ajarn Werayut Messaman of the Buddhai Swan Institute Thailand.
In 2002 Kru Mark traveled to Thailand to train in Krabi Krabong (Thai weapons system) at the Buddhai Swan Institute were he gained his red sash (basic instructors grade). for the next 2 years Kru Mark gave demonstrations in Krabi Krabong around the country with his mentor Arjarn Tony Moore .
In 2002 Kru Mark traveled back to the Buddhai Swan Institute were he under went rigorous daily training to a very exacting standard. After being assesed on this knowledge, practise and understanding of the art, the reward was a gold sash instructors grade in Krabi Krabong.
While he was there he was asked to teach Muay Thai in the Nongkam district at a local orphanage for underprivileged children. This was a great honour and privilage and it was a memorable experiance and a great pleasure to teach the children. |
